Serbian Army (VS) Chief of the General Staff Lieutenant General Ljubisa Dikovic will take part in NATO's Military Committee (MC) meeting in Brussels Wednesday. This will be the 26th regular meeting of the committee at the level of chiefs of staff, the VS released in a statement. VS chief of general staff to attend NATO meeting The topics of the meeting will include experiences in the field of joint engagement and improvement of understanding when it comes to working with partner countries. During his stay in Brussels, Dikovic will have bilateral meetings with Chairman of the European Union Military Committee General Hakan Syren, Chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Martin Dempsey and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia General Nikolai Makarov. The NATO's MC, which comprises the highest military representatives of the Alliance and the Partnership for Peace, will discuss the situation in Kosovo and Afghanistan. The meeting will be attended by chiefs of staff of the total of 67 countries, and the debate on Kosovo will be addressed by KFOR Commander Erhard Drews and EULEX Chief Xavier Bout de Marnhac.
