The State Audit Institution (DRI) will file complaints against the Environment, Mining and Spatial Planning Ministry for illegal spending. The complaints will also be filed against the Serbian Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA) and the Serbian Environmental Protection Fund. DRI in complaint against Environment Ministry The auditors have discovered that RSD 300mn was spent on incentives for the construction industry without the government’s consent. The Environmental Protection Agency broke the law by paying a contractor for unfinished construction work. On the other hand, the Environmental Protection Fund gave around RSD 100mn to recycling companies without even forming a commission or releasing the list of candidates. The auditors have determined that five companies filed their requests before other companies and that they were given funds even though they did not have all the necessary documents.
