Serbian President Boris Tadic sent on Friday a message to the Serbian citizens wishing them a happy New Year. He added that they should hold on despite difficulties that have lasted for decades, because no crisis, including the current one, lasts forever. President in New Year’s message to citizens Tadic pointed out that only with optimism, good energy and a clear plan the citizens and the state could resolve historic problems they were facing. "I will never tell an untruth. It will be difficult, but I believe that, with a favorable solution to the economic situation in the largest countries of the world, we can find a solution for Serbia as well," the president underlined. Tadic said he is optimistic ahead of the new wave of the crisis because pesimists have never accomplished anything or resolved any problems, noting, however, that he has a certain amount of scepticism. He warned that no economic policy can be prosperous unless peace and stability are maintained.
