The Independent Trade Union of Police members, who have been on strike since December 12, will not give up on a protest in front of the government headquarters. “We are not giving up on the protest. We expect around 4,000 or 5,000 colleagues,” Independent Trade Union of Police representative Dragan Zlatanovic has said. Police Union announces protest in Belgrade The Union has announced that the protest will be held on Monday at noon in downtown Belgrade. The Union requests improvement of police officers’ financial situation. Serbian Interior Minister Ivica Dacic has called on the Union members to end the strike.
