Serbian customs officers have discovered 15 illegal immigrants in a refrigerated truck with Hungarian license plates. The truck was stopped at a highway between the southern towns of Vladicin Han and Vranje on Sunday. Customs officers discover 15 illegal immigrants The people were hidden in custom-made bunkers. Boxes with oranges and strawberries were placed on top of the bunkers, the Customs Administration has released. Seven people were hidden in one of the bunkers and another eight were in the second one. The temperature inside the truck was 4 degrees Celsius the whole time. The Customs Administration added that its officers had discovered eight illegal immigrants in a Greek van two days before. Thanks to mobile scanners and hard work, the customs officers have discovered 100 persons who tried to illegally cross into Serbia on their way to the EU member states in the last two months.
