Govt. has “insufficient control in northern Kosovo”

Serbian Ministry for Kosovo State Secretary Oliver Ivanovic says that the current government had politically “lost a little bit of control“ in northern Kosovo. “The authorities have not established sufficient influence over there, instead everything has been reduced to regular payments of money from the state budget,“ the state secretary wrote in an article for Novi Sad-based daily Dnevnik. Govt. has “insufficient control in northern Kosovo” He added that additional aggravating circumstances would be an election campaign in Serbia which had already started. According to Ivanovic, northern Kosovo mayors need to realize that they have to accept the solutions that have been adopted by the Serbian government.
