The Serbian government on Thursday adopted a bill on the budget for 2012, envisaging a RSD 140bn deficit at the state level. Revenues in the 2012 budget has been projected at around RSD 750 billion, and expenses at RSD 890bn, State Secretary at the Finance Ministry Dusan Nikezic told a news conference today. Government passes bill on state budget for 2012 At the consolidated level the targeted deficit is RSD 152bn, or 4.25 percent of GDP, he said, adding that the government passed a realistic, rational and money-saving budget with anti-crisis policy elements. Nikezic thanked all ministries and other budget beneficiaries for their positive approach and constructive cooperation in the budget drafting process.
