EU foreign ministers will most probably decide on Serbia's EU candidacy status as early as December 5. This is according to Serbian Deputy Prime Minister for EU Integration Bozidar Djelic, who spoke on Tuesday. "Dec. 9 decision to be made on Dec. 5" Originally, the decision was to be made on December 9 at the summit of EU heads and governments. However, the agenda of the meeting is too busy due to financial and institutional crisis in the eurozone, Djelic explained in his address to journalists in Brussels. The decision should be expected as early as December 5, he said. Djelic is on a three-day visit to Brussels, where he will have a number of meetings with European and Belgian officials.
