Serb Radical Party (SRS) MP Vjerica Radeta says that Serbia should "withdraw its hospitality" to the EU mission in Kosovo, EULEX. The opposition party official told B92 in Belgrade on Tuesday that the government should opt for such a move because problems in the province had escalated since the mission was deployed. Opposition party: EULEX should leave Kosovo EULEX was installed with the assistance of the state of Serbia, Radeta noted. She added that once EULEX had left, "nothing would happen", and that the absence of the mission from Kosovo would not aggravate the situation there. "What could happen? Nothing. The number of KFOR soldiers would increase. They (EULEX) should be told that we are withdrawing our hospitality because they have not fulfilled their tasks," the SRS MP continued. Radeta also stated that Serbia should negotiate with the UN about the implementation of the Security Council Resolution 1244, and about the possibility of sending Serbian army and police personnel back to Kosovo. She added that MPs in the Serbian parliament "had no information about the content of the negotiations in Brussels". "We have no information about what chief negotiator Borislav Stefanovic in negotiating about in Brussels. Some parts of those agreements were presented to MPs at the Committee on Kosovo and Metohija, but not to the entire parliament. Perhaps we'll hear about this during a session dedicated to Kosovo, if and when it takes place," Radeta concluded. Vjerica Radeta (FoNet, file)
