Ruling Democratic Party-led parliamentary group whip Nada Kolundzija stated Saturday that the DS never had and never would accept blackmail. “The DS has always showed readiness to resolve problems through talks, and it will continue to do that in future as well, since it has never accepted blackmail, nor it ever will,” she said referring to the Serbian Renewal Movement (SPO) whose members obstructed voting in the parliament on Thursday by leaving the session. Ruling DS “will not accept blackmail” The SPO members were dissatisfied because the agenda did not include interpellation on work of Serbian Diaspora and Religion Minister Srdjan Sreckovic, who is also the SPO deputy leader. Kolundzija told Belgrade-based daily Danas that the SPO led by Vuk Draskovic should resolve its inter-party disagreements so that it would not hinder the parliament's work again. She underlined that it was obvious that the SPO had a problem and called on the party to resolve the matter and not be a threat to stability of the Serbian government and realization of Serbia's goals.
