The Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) held a rally in Belgrade on Saturday and presented its “team for Belgrade”. SNS deputy leader Aleksandar Vucic, who is running for Belgrade mayor, said it was the Belgrade mayor’s duty to create as many jobs as possible and make Belgrade the driving force behind the country's development. He criticized the current city administration, headed by Mayor Dragan Djilas, who he said had mostly worked on filling his own pockets. "Unemployment is rising, two thirds of all middle class households are in jeopardy, and soup kitchens are a stone's throw from the city center," Vucic pointed out. He expressed belief the SNS would win the next election and replace the people who had been in power in Belgrade for the past 15 years. Aleksandar Vucic is seen at the rally (Tanjug)
