Serbian IM Ivica Dacic concurred Saturday with U.S. President Barack Obama’s position on relations between Israel and Palestine. He added that it would be nice if such principles were applied to Kosovo as well. Principles for Kosovo “should be same as for Palestine” “The position of the U.S. president is that the solution cannot be reached in the UN if there is no previous agreement between Israel and Palestine. The same should be applied to Kosovo, but the problem is that before the dialogue was completed, one part of the international community acted differently,” the interior minister told journalists in Ratina, near the central Serbian town of Kraljevo. He underlined that the same principles would be applied for Serbia, if it were a stronger ally of the U.S., but since that was obviously not the case, it was faced with a difficult fight for the preservation of Kosovo on one side and preservation of Serbia and the Serbia people on the other. “Only a strong Serbia would be a great one, whose voice would be recognized again,” Dacic pointed out.
