Council of Europe (CoE) President Herman Van Rompuy has commended Serbia's EU efforts. He also congratulated the Serbian parliament, government and President Boris Tadic on their European engagement. I would like to congratulate to the Serbian parliament and government on their European engagement and efforts put in the implementation of the necessary reforms. I particularly congratulate President Tadic on his personal engagement,” Rompuy told daily Vecernje novosti ahead of his visit to Belgrade during which he and the Serbian president will open the first Serbia-EU Forum dubbed "Overcoming the crisis, moving towards the EU."
