After the first part of the session, four delegations were sent to hold meetings with the Serbian President Boris Tadic, Deputy PM and Interior Minister Ivica Dacic, Serbian Orthodox Patriarch Irinej, and Russian Ambassador to Serbia Aleksandr Konuzin. The session also adopted conclusions, which rejected demands for abolishment of Serbian institutions in northern Kosovo, and described the demand, presented by the German chancellor, as an ultimatum. The councilors also asked Serbia not to accept the customs stamps of Kosovo as the government representatives meet those of Pristina in Brussels on September 2. They requested a return to the "regime of administrative crossings" that existed before July 25. In their conclusions, the councilors also demanded a return of a part of security forces to Kosovo, and called on Serbia to "clearly make it known to both domestic and foreign public that it will use all means of the state at its disposal to defend existential interests of Serbs in the province". Although it was claimed that the session was attended by all councilors from northern Kosovo it was impossible to see the district chief or more prominent members of the Democratic Party from Kosovo.
