Minister for Kosovo Goran Bogdanovic spoke for B92 on Monday to say that after removing the barricades, Serbs in northern Kosovo will "remain on standby". The agreement reached with KFOR last week was meant to give dialogue a chance, said he. "After barricades, Serbs to remain on standby" "In the past 12 years, I have had the misfortune of taking part in all these discussions to solve problems, and always, or most of the time, those from the international community would trick us," Bogdanovic stated. He added that Serbs in the north - whose representatives met with Serbian President Boris Tadic late on Sunday - would remove the barricades, but would also remain prepared, without dissolving their emergency HQs, "since there can absolutely be no trust" in the international community. "Enough with barricades, enough with problems, enough with conflicts," said Bogdanovic, and added that the EU and the United States should exert their influence on the Kosovo Albanians in order to solve all issues in a peaceful manner. "We cannot use unilateral moves, threats, war. I think we've had all that and we see where that has led us," the minister concluded. Read the whole interview here Goran Bogdanovic (Tanjug, file)
