A big job has been done regarding the reconstruction of Kraljevo after the earthquake on November 3, 2010, Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic said on Friday. During a visit to the central Serbian town he said that a total amount of the state aid to Kraljevo would be more than RSD 2bn. PM: Earthquake-hit town successfully rebuilt “The entire project has been done without any affairs, problems, because we realized that if we indulged the bidders the job could turn into something opposite. That did not happen because everything was done transparently,” Cvetkovic stressed. He pointed out that more than 400 prefabricated houses had been finished and that about 100 still needed to be completed. “These experiences show that even in the biggest crisis, when we are hit by natural disasters, we can be solidary which goes both for the Serbian government and individuals,” the prime minister concluded.
