Party submits decentralization petition to parliament

After submitting the petition, Dinkic - sacked earlier this year as deputy PM and economy minister - told reporters that the proposals would allow for a real decentralization of Serbia. He said that no one had been able to collect this many signatures for a legislative initiative since the parliamentary system was introduced in Serbia, and added that URS now has a big responsibility to the people who signed the petition and others who support its initiative.
