The Mladic family lawyer said today in Belgrade that they were "happy to learn that Ratko Mladic is alive". The former military leader of Serbs in Bosnia, indicted by the Hague Tribunal for genocide and war crimes, was arrested on Thursday in northern Serbia. "The family believed he was dead and the news of his arrest was a source of great surprise, as well as happiness," the lawyer added.
