Holland's final position on Serbia's bid to become EU candidate status depends solely on the Chief Hague Prosecutor Serge Brammertz's report on cooperation. This is according to Dutch Foreign Minister Uri Rosenthal, who spoke for the Belgrade-based daily Vecernje Novosti. Dutch FM: Chief Hague prosecutor's report key Rosenthal noted that his country's stance on the issue was well known, and that it would not change. He also said that Brammertz's next report was authoritative when it came to Serbia's further EU integration, and that this message was also given on Monday to his counterpart Vuk Jeremic. "We spoke about the possibilities of Serbia joining the EU. Once again I stressed the need of Serbia's full cooperation with the Hague Tribunal. That was the essence of my meeting with Minister Jeremic," said Rosenthal. The Dutch official concluded that he would read carefully and study the next Brammertz report, and decided on Holland's position based on that. Earlier this month, Brammertz submitted a negative report on Serbia's cooperation to the UN Security Council. A file photo of Serge Brammertz
