Tadić welcomes school children from Kosovo

Serbian President Boris Tadić met Friday in front of the Palace of Serbia with over 1,200 elementary school students from Kosovo who are visiting Belgrade.

Serbian President Boris Tadic met Friday in front of the Palace of Serbia with over 1,200 elementary school students from Kosovo who are visiting Belgrade. He welcomed them to the capital city with the words, "you are in your own country". Tadic welcomes school children from Kosovo Tadic wished the children a safe future and a peaceful childhood, and said he would do everything to guarantee them these rights. The Serbian president also told the children to "obey their parents, fulfill their duties and be diligent". "You come from all of our beautiful towns in Kosovo, which we will never relinquish, because Kosovo is the place where our identity was built and I want to thank you for preserving this identity," Tadic said. Tadic then posed for photographs with the children, their teachers and their host families in Belgrade. The children will spend four days with their peers in the Serbian capital.
