UN chief backs Kosovo organ trade probe

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon forwarded to the UN Security Council Serbia's request for an investigation into the Kosovo human organ trafficking allegations. "I would like to use this opportunity to express my support to a thorough, unbiased and independent investigation into these serious allegations. The UN will offer its full support to such probe in case it takes place," reads the general secretary's letter to the chairman of the Security Council.
