Head of Pristina's negotiating team Edita Tahiri says it is not the right moment for Kosovo officials to meet with Belgrade's team head Borislav Stefanovic. “I have been informed about the plans of Serbia's representative in the technical dialogue Stefanovic to visit Kosovo and meet with representatives of Kosovo institutions. He announced the visit even earlier during the meetings in Brussels,” she told Pristina-based Albanian language daily Koha Ditore. Time “not right” for meeting with Belgrade team head Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Hajredin Kuci stated that the government had given consent to Stefanovic's visit to Kosovo. The Belgrade team chief announced that he intended to pay a visit to Kosovo before the next round of the Belgrade-Pristina talks in mid-May, and meet with Serbs, both north and south of the Ibar River, as well as with the Albanian representatives. “We will try to confer with the Albanian representatives, and that is not a problem. We would like to get an insight into the level of democracy in Pristina and to see in which manner we are an obstacle to an open and democratic Kosovo,” he pointed out. He said that the fourth round of the talks in Brussels in mid-May would not introduce new topics, but rather table the issues which have been discussed so far - registry books, customs seal, telecommunications, electricity and freedom of movement.
