Interior Minister Ivica Dacic says that police were ready to cooperate with the opposition SNS party as they organize a rally in Belgrade on April 16. The goal is to ensure a peaceful holding of the public gathering, he said. Minister: Police ready for opposition rally "If the security of the organizers point out to some people that should not have come there, or considers them to be intruders, the police will be ready to take charge of security," Dacic told reporters late on Tuesday. He added that the police do not interfere in political matters, issues of elections or agreements between the political parties. “It is important to urge all the participants, not only in this one but in all large public gatherings, that it is most important to prevent any kind of violence that could threaten the stability of our country from happening,” Dacic stressed.
