DS, SPS won’t discuss elections

Two biggest parties of the ruling coalition, the Democratic Party (DS) and the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS), will today hold their Main Board meetings.

Two biggest parties of the ruling coalition, the Democratic Party (DS) and the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS), will today hold their Main Board meetings. Even though there have been some speculations about the date of the possible early elections, both the DS and the SPS will only finish forming party bodies today. DS, SPS won’t discuss elections SPS leader Ivica Dacic has announced that the SPS Main Board will continue actions that started at the party’s last congress. Both parties say that possible early parliamentary elections will not be discussed at these meetings. DS leader Boris Tadic will present his report on party’s activities and political situation in the country in the previous period, which was, among other things, marked by the Serbian government reshuffle.

SPS leader Ivica Dačić has announced that the SPS Main Board will continue actions that started at the party’s last congress.

Both parties say that possible early parliamentary elections will not be discussed at these meetings.

DS leader Boris Tadić will present his report on party’s activities and political situation in the country in the previous period, which was, among other things, marked by the Serbian government reshuffle.
