Deputy President of the Assembly of Vojvodina Maja Sedlarevic says there is no precise date for the opening of the province's office in Brussels. This is the case since the office has not yet been authorized by the Serbian government, as it is proscribed by the regulations, said she. Vojvodina Brussels office following govt. authorization Recalling that according to the Statute of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, the province can open its office in Brussels solely in accordance with the government, Sedlarevic stated at a session of the Vojvodina assembly's Committee on European Integration and Interregional Cooperation that she expects that the authorization will be issued soon. “I believe in good faith of the provincial administration and Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic, who has promised that Vojvodina's office in Brussels will be opened early in 2011,” Sedlarevic sad. Director of Vojvodina's European Affairs Fund Predrag Novikov stated that the provincial administration has completed all preparations for the opening of the office, adding that this institution will be beneficial for the entire country. All possible accesses to the pre-accession funds should be used in the best possible way in the upcoming period which will be vital for Serbia's EU path, Novikov said, stressing that each euro invested in Vojvodina's office in Brussels will be returned tenfold.
