The announced government reshuffle comes down to cosmetic changes, the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) has stated. According to the SNS, the government reshuffle represents a marketing move aimed at extending the ruling coalitions “stay” in the government for a few more days. "Govt. reshuffle is only cosmetic change” SNS Main Board Deputy President Nebojsa Stefanovic said that ministers “who have not been successful in their work so far would certainly show their inability to solve the citizens' problems after the ministries have been merged“. In the SNS' opinion, aside from the ministers and the prime minister, President Boris Tadic, Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) leader Cedomir Jovanovic and Serbian Radical Party (SRS) leader Vojislav Seselj are responsible for the results of the current government and the situation Serbia is in. Stefanovic asked the government why it could not determine who had taken the money intended for construction of a new bridge in Belgrade and added that the government had an obligation to say why the construction of the bridge was so expensive that “at least three bridges“ could be constructed for the same price. The SNS has once again called on the government to call early parliamentary elections so Serbia could get a responsible government.
