The Serbian parliament began its regular spring session in Belgrade on Wednesday. It started with a ceremony with participation of the Serbian Army guard of honor's and the sounding of the national anthem. Serbian parliament begins spring session In accordance with the Law on National Assembly adopted one year ago, regular parliament sessions - the spring session which begins on the first working day of March and the fall session which begins on the first working day of October, officially begin with the guard of honor's lining up at the entrance into the National Assembly building and the playing of the national anthem. At its first spring sitting, the parliament will discuss 17 bills and staff decisions, among which the amendments to the Law on Planning and Construction, as well as the proposed bills on social protection and sport. The Serbian parliament will, among other things, consider several bills regarding the ratification of international agreements and contracts, among which the loan agreements between the EU and Serbia, and the ratification of the Serbia-Montenegro agreement on cooperation and mutual assistance in customs issues.
