Vucic believes that the economic, political and social situation in Serbia is "catastrophically bad", and that "the regime" had rejected to meet the demands "made by the citizens of Serbia rather than SNS". The questions that the ruling coalition has not provided answers to include elections, the sale of Telekom Srbija, as well as "who murdered" a Radical Party (SRS) activist who died after a police beating during a pro-Radovan Karadzic rally in 2008, and who was responsible for local election irregularities in the town of Bor last year. Asked whether the April protest will be the "styrofoam gathering", the announced sit-down - in the streets and on styrofoam - until early elections are called, Vucic asked reporters to refrain from trivializing the rally, and stressed that "styrofoam is a metaphor of a peaceful and democratic gathering". "This will be the decisive rally for the future of Serbia," said Vucic, and added that SNS will soon talk to New Serbia and other parties in the hope of securing their presence at the gathering.
