War Crimes Prosecutor Vladimir Vukcevic says that much has been done in the search for the remaining two Hague fugitives, but that few results are visible. “The results will be visible when Ratko Mladic and Goran Hadzic are in The Hague. Until then, Serbia will be their hostage,” he told Tanjug in the expectation of Brammertz's arrival in Belgrade on Tuesday. “Serbia Hague fugitives’ hostage” “The prosecution, security services, the Action Team for the location and arrest of the two remaining Hague fugitives and all involved in the search are doing everything they can,” said Vukcevic who heads the Action Team. “Serbia's progress in European Union integration will depend on Brammertz's report on Serbia's cooperation with the Hague Tribunal and failure to arrest the two remaining Hague fugitives hinders this progress,” he pointed out. The war crimes prosecutor said he could only guarantee that Serbia had acted upon all recommendations it received from Brammertz through his men included in the Action Team. “As regards cooperation between the National Council and the Hague Tribunal, all their requests were met,” he added. Vukcevic expects Brammertz's next report to the UN Security Council on Serbia's cooperation with the Hague Tribunal to be objective, professional, and therefore, positive.
