DRI chief announces more audits

Serbia's State Auditor Radoslav Sretenovic says that audits will start in the ministries of the interior, defense, finance, economy and regional development. Sretenovic recalled that charges against the ministers of labor and social policy, education, infrastructure, agriculture and nine ministry officials were filed to the competent court, for the violation of the Budget System Law, Public Procurement Law and Labor Law. He explained that the reason for these charges is not extensive spending of the budgetary means, but rather violation of the law.
