The International Steering Group for Kosovo (ISG) met this week to consider issues related to Kosovo. The group gathering some western countries that recognized the Kosovo Albanian UDI made three years ago "called on all relevant institutions and organizations in Kosovo to respond without further delay to the requests of EULEX for providing evidence regarding Council of Europe rapporteur Dick Marty's allegations on organ trafficking, and urged Kosovo authorities to protect the witnesses". ISG calls for "cooperation in responding to questions" The ISG stated after the meeting in Brussels late on Monday that they expect a speedy forming of the Kosovo government and election of president, as well as an "honest, constructive and respectful dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo" as two "independent and sovereign states". This would happen "in order to determine and solve practical issues of mutual interest to the benefit of both countries' citizens". "This kind of dialogue and cooperation can be useful for long-term regional stability and EU integration. ISG believe that the dialogue, with the EU's mediation and the implementation of the Comprehensive Proposal for the Kosovo Status Settlement, should be promoted in a way which includes mutual support, particularly concerning the expansion of decentralization in northern Kosovo," the statement reads.
