Agreement on abolishing blank resignation has been reached between Parliament Speaker Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic and party to form working groups. They would propose amendments to the law on the election of MPs that should result in the abolishment of blank resignations and amendments to the parliament's rules of procedure, it was announced in Belgrade on Tuesday. Blank MP resignations to be abolished Djukic-Dejanovic told the press after the meeting that she expects the working group for proposing amendments to the law on the election of MPs to present its proposals in the coming few weeks. She added that she expects the working group for amendments to the parliament's rules of procedure to present its proposals in a few days, in order to debate them at a special session after February 20.
