EC expert missions to focus on three areas “The task of expert missions will be to examine the situation in the field and enable the EC to gather additional information as to how far Serbia has come in fulfilling three crucial EU membership criteria - the rule of law and judiciary, the functioning of independent regulation bodies, and human rights and protection of minorities. The expert missions will be sent to Belgrade to examine these three domains that the Enlargement Directorate General considers precarious,” the Fule’s office stated. The office said that the missions would visit Serbia in the period from late February to late May, adding that exact dates were yet to be determined. The EC questionnaire (Beta, file)
