A British court will decide whether to extradite Julian Assange to Sweden next month. This was decided today when the Australian founder and editor-in-chief of the Wikileaks whistleblowing website briefly appeared at Belmarsh Magistrates' Court. Assange extradition decision in one month Assange, who spent a week in December in prison after he turned himself in to police, is now free under strict bail conditions and is under house arrest. He is wanted for questioning in Sweden after he was accused of rape by two women. The Australian has not been charged or indicted. Assange's lawyers said details of the defense documents will be published online at a later date. "Our work with Wikileaks continues unabated. We are stepping up publishing for Cablegate and other materials.
