Moscow wants "most serious" approach to report

Russia has called on the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe to consider the Marty report on human organ trafficking in Kosovo "most seriously". This is according to Alexei Sazonov, deputy of an official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry. Moscow wants "most serious" approach to report Sazonov told a news conference in Moscow on Thursday that Marty's report had been heard around the world, which was "natura," bearing in mind that these were crimes against humanity and that there was suspicion of top Kosovo Albanian official involvement. We are counting on the Parliamentary Assembly reviewing the document most seriously at its session late in January 2011 and making the necessary decisions, Sazonov said. The Russian ministry representative pointed out it was obvious that a detailed international investigation into all allegations in the Marty report was necessary. The so-called KLA and its leaders, including Hashim Thaci, were named in the Council of Europe rapporteur Dick Marty's report as being responsible for the kidnappings in the province and murder for their body parts in Albania of Serb and other civilians.
