Serbian President Boris Tadic and Interior Minister Ivica Dacic unveiled a memorial on Monday at the headquarters of MUP's Special Anti-terrorist Unit (SAJ). The memorial is dedicated to the officers of the unit who lost their lives while defending the country. President at top MUP unit ceremony The ceremony was also attended by Serbian Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic, Security Intelligence Agency (BIA) Director Sasa Vukadinovic, representatives of the Serbian Army and the diplomatic corps, as well as former and current SAJ officers and commanders. The unit is considered Serbia's top anti-terrorist police formation, tasked carrying out complex and high-risky security and protection tasks. The ceremony was also attended by Serbian Prime Minister Mirko Cvetković, Security Intelligence Agency (BIA) Director Saša Vukadinović, representatives of the Serbian Army and the diplomatic corps, as well as former and current SAJ officers and commanders.

The unit is considered Serbia's top anti-terrorist police formation, tasked carrying out complex and high-risky security and protection tasks.
