Serbian Defense Ministry will next year get USD 1mn aid from the US, Serbian Defense Minister Dragan Sutanovac said Monday in Washington. In addition, the ministry can count on USD 900,000 more for a program of training officers, he said. Through a program of training officers and cadets it military colleges, Serbia will get USD 900,000 more, he told reporters from Serbia. Sutanovac arrived in Washington from Halifax, Canada, where he attended the International Security Forum. He also conferred with U.S. Undersecretary of Defense for Policy Michele Flournoy, who confirmed the aid. The talk also focused on future cooperation between the two ministries and the partnership program with the Ohio National Guard.
