LDP leader Cedomir Jovanovic say the Serbian government cannot resolve problems with ethnic Albanians in the south by starting legal proceedings. Legal proceedings should not come because ethnic Albanians from this area of Serbia freely expressed their political views, said LDP, and advocated that these problems should be solved through dialogue. LDP: Govt. threats not way forward “Every person in Serbia has the right to say how they see their future, and the government, instead of offering its own concept, is threatening to resort to the Prosecution. That is a wrong move, our government should not respond with threats,” Jovanovic told journalists at the Serbian parliament on Tuesday. Regarding the support some political representatives of ethnic Albanians from Presevo and Bujanovac for the idea of a Greater Albania that would include territories of four neighboring countries, Jovanovic said that everyone in Serbia has the right to express their political stances and views with regard to the future. “Of course, I disagree with their views, but I am of the opinion that instead of growling at every statement we do not approve of, we should ask ourselves why that keeps happening to us, “ said Jovanovic. “The constitutional and legal system was more jeopardized in Belgrade, during the demolition of the city, than when a politician gave what I believe is a meaningless and unacceptable statement that should be treated accordingly,” Jovanovic stated. Public Prosecutor's Office spokesperson Tomo Zoric has stated that the prosecution will react, within the domain of its jurisdictions, to the statements issued by Presevo and Bujanovac municipal presidents at a rally in Tirana, staged for promotion of the List for Natural Albania. Presevo Municipal President Ragmi Mustafa, Presevo Deputy Municipal President Orhan Redzepi and Bujanovac Municipal President Jonus Musliju supported the idea of the list. The authorities should counter any form of anti-constitutional behavior, opposition SNS leader Tomislav Nikolic stated on Tuesday. Nikolic pointed out that SNS does not support the statements made at the Tirana meeting, and added that all those who speak against the Serbian Constitution should be arrested, including the citizens who made anti-constitutional statements in Tirana.
