International Civilian Representative (ICR) Pieter Feith has stated that the Kosovo assembly will be dissolved after the fall session. This will be followed by early elections. Pristina: Assembly dissolves after fall session "The date is the topic of the consultations (Acting President) Jakup Krasnici and (Premier) Hasim Taci are carrying out with political leaders," Feith said in an interview published by the Pristina daily Koha Ditore on Monday. He added that he is interested in having the assembly function as regularly as possible in the fall "so as to have some laws of vital importance for Kosovo and economy adopted". The Pristina government foreign minister, Skender Hiseni, meantime has said that he opposes the possibility that the talks between Belgrade and Pristina be opened before the early elections in Kosovo, envisaged for early next year. In an interview for Albania's TV Alsat, Hiseni said that the talks on technical matters should wait for the early elections and the setting up of new institutions. Hiseni noted that meetings have already been organized with Belgrade and mentioned the talks of the representatives of the commissions for missing persons. "These commissions may continue with their work, but when it comes to other issues that require consensus, we should wait for the new institutions to be set up," said Hiseni.
