Minister: Corridor 10 takes priority

Minister of Infrastructure Milutin Mrkonjic said that it can be expected to have the Law on Spatial Planning passed in October. In terms of transportation, the first priorities will be building roads and railways for Corridors 10 and 11, the investment in Corridor 7/the Danube river, as well as recovery of Jat Airways. Minister: Corridor 10 takes priority "The Spatial Plan of Serbia is one of the most important documents a serious state can have", Mrkonjic said in the Serbian government headquarters, where he presented the provisions of the Spatial Plan related to transportation to the municipal representatives. "The acceptance of the Spatial Plan, scheduled for October, will mean that we, finally, managed to produce a single opinion on what we want to do in the coming years", the minister said. Mrkonjic said he was satisfied with the content of the Spatial Plan related to transportation. "I am convinced that we are going to implement a part of it ( ie. the Corridor 10) during this government’s mandate, and that during the mandate of the next government we will be able to complete the Corridor 11 and execute at least part of the investments planned for the Danube river", he said.
