Begrade and Pristina should discuss everything, including the status of Kosovo, says Slovakian FM Mikulas Dzurinda. "I'm sure both sides will be open to negotiations on all subjects and I think that no issue should be off limits," he told Belgrade daily Vecernje Novosti. "Status should also be discussed" Asked whether the EU was expected to show more good will, now that Serbia has accepted to change its UN resolution, Dzurinda said that an answer of the EU was expected and needed. "I'm certain that the credibility of the EU will be higher if we are capable of agreeing on Serbia's application for candidate status. This will be essential for stability and a positive development in Serbia, which is crucial from the European point of view," he said. "I think that this, at the moment not so great, obstacle will be overcome very quickly. I believe that the Council of Ministers will ask the European Commission in October to start producing its opinion on the Serbian candidature and I wish to contribute to that," said the minister. According to Dzurinda, there is no option either for Belgrade or Pristina than to negotiate and "move toward the EU together", and said he was happy that Tadic and Serbian leaders had chosen future over past.
