Libyan leader Muammar al-Gaddafi organized on Wednesday a ceremonial dinner on the occasion of the 41st anniversary of the Libyan revolution. This event was was attended by Serbian President Boris Tadic along with other heads of state, said Tanjug in its report. Tadic attends Libyan revolution anniversary Tadic, reports the news agency, sat next to the Libyan leader during the dinner, which was also attended by Bosnia-Herzegovina Presidency member Haris Silajdzic, Slovenia's Prime Minister Borut Pahor, Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor, Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini, the presidents of several African states - Mauritania, Chad, Nigeria, Guinea and the prime ministers of Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco. Gaddafi, Tadic and other leaders attended a ceremony held in Tripoli downtown. This is the fourth meeting of Tadic and Gaddafi, and the second in 2010. The Serbian president conferred with Gaddafi in his summer residence in Sirt in April, 2010. Gaddafi presented Tadic with a medal at the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Libyan revolution in Tripoli in September 2009. The first time the two leaders met was in 2005. Libya is currently holding presidency over the UN General Assembly, which is to discuss Serbia's resolution on Kosovo and Metohija on September 9. Libya is one of the richest African countries, and has great influence in the Arab world, said Tanjug.
