LDP urges protection for judiciary

Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) asked the Serbian government and parliament to react immediately to protect the High Judiciary Council. The statement also related to the State Council of Prosecutors and all holders of judiciary offices. Opposition Serb Progressive Party (SNS) official Vladimir Cvijan said at a news conference on Friday that, out of more than 1,000 judges who have not been reappointed, "about 650 joined SNS".
