Justice Minister Snezana Malovic say the extradition agreement signed with Croatia is of great importance for the regional fight against organized crime. The signing of such agreements with Montenegro, Macedonia and the United States of America is being planned, she added. Extradition agreements important for region “The joint fight against organized crime and corruption, which we have started and already had significant results, will surely contribute to the regional stability and security, which is very important for the Western Balkans' future development and European future,” Malovic told Belgrade's Vecernje Novosti daily. The agreement between Belgrade and Zagreb was signed on June 29 and is the first international agreement on extradition of citizens for criminal offenses involving organized crime and corruption to the country where the offense is committed.
