Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic departed on Wednesday for a four-day working visit to the People's Republic of China and South Korea. There, he will meet with the country's highest state officials and businessmen to discuss improvements in relations and possibilities for investing in Serbia. Serbian PM visits China and S. Korea Cvetkovic will meet with Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and the National People's Congress Chairman Wu Bangguo and discuss improvements in relations and deepening of the strategic partnership between Serbia and China, the prime minister's cabinet said in a statement in Belgrade today. In talks with representatives of companies in the domain of telecommunications, infrastructure and energy, Cvetkovic will give a presentation on the possibilities for investing in Serbia. The prime minister will also pay a visit to the World Exhibition EXPO 2010 in Shanghai on June 27, on the occasion of the National Day of the Serbian Pavilion. The Serbian delegation will then travel to South Korea for a two-day working visit, during which Cvetkovic will meet with South Korean Prime Minister Chung Un-Chan and Parliament Speaker Park Hee-tae in Seoul. The prime minister's Cabinet also announced meetings with most prominent Korean businessmen and representatives of Samsung Electronics Corporation. As a member of the delegation, Serbian Minister of Trade and Services Slobodan Milosavljevic will accompany Cvetkovic on his visit to China, while Minister for Telecommunications and Information Society Jasna Matic will join them during their stay in Korea, the statement reads.
