Kosovo police, KPS, in northern Kosovska Mitrovica stated they have found the personal documents of a man they say is a member of the Serbian police. They identified the person as Dragisa Antic. Kosovo police chase man, “catch MUP ID” According to KPS spokesperson Besim Hoti, “it was ascertained from the documents that he is a member of the Serbian police”. According to reports in Albanian language media in Pristina, Antic was “noticed” in a northern Kosovska Mitrovica neighborhood on Wednesday night, “but when he was told to stop, he jumped over a wall of a private house and was able to escape”. “He left behind him a Serbian police identification card and a membership card of the Serb Radical Party of war criminal Vojislav Seselj,” Pristina daily Koha Ditore stated. The daily published what they said was a photograph of the identification card with Antic’s name on it. Hoti said that police were “investigating in order to see what needs to be done next in the case”. “Information services and other agencies are gathering information and by giving the documents to Serbian officials through intermediary offices, they will look to see who he is and what is position is, as well as what his mission was,” Hoti said. He added that it was “up to police investigators to find out who Antic is and what he was doing in Kosovo”. “We cannot say anything about him until we catch him,” Hoti said, adding that “Serbian Interior Ministry officials are not here (in northern Kosovo) for the first time, and that they were placed in Kosovo since the arrival of KFOR”.
