A 15 year-old boy from the village of Takovo killed his 40 year-old father by shooting him with a hunting rifle, according to police in Valjevo, western Serbia.

A 15 year-old boy from the village of Takovo killed his 40 year-old father by shooting him with a hunting rifle, according to police in Valjevo, western Serbia. He shot his father, Dragan Markovic, while he was sleeping and killed him on the spot, after which the child surrendered to the police. According to testimony from family and neighbors, Markovic was a “very strict parent” towards the boy. The investigative judge and deputy prosecutor in Valjevo investigated the scene. The 15 year-old child will be put on trial at the High Juvenile Court in Valjevo.
