President Tadić supports regionalization

At the founding assembly of the United Regions of Serbia, President Boris Tadic said that he is ready to support the regionalization process. He said that the question of regionalization and decentralization will always be on a lower level of importance than protecting Serbia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty. President Tadic supports regionalization “I am ready, as the President, to support the process of regionalization which is seen as a functional process and a contribution to the country’s stability, its integrity, and a better life for its citizens,” Tadic said. United Regions of Serbia’s founding assembly will promote its program declarations and signed founding act. A session of the G17 Plus election assembly is expected to be held afterwards. The only candidate for G17 Plus party president is current leader Mladjan Dinkic, who will also be the leader of URS. URS is made up of Together for Sumadija, I Live for Krajina, the National Party, the Vojvodina Party and G17 Plus. “What is specific for the Union is that G17 Plus has that flexibility to stand in local elections behind the individuals or groups that have the most support from the citizens.
