Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) leader Cedomir Jovanovic was awarded as the Euro-Atlantic Person of the Year. The award is handed out by the International Institute for Security and the NATO sector for public diplomacy. After an all-inclusive analysis, the commission decided on Jovanovic out of eight public and political figures from Serbia, according to the Institute, which refrained from mentioning who the other candidates were.
