London: Ganic hearing postponed His legal team said they were "not worried" by this development, describing it as "regular procedures". The former Muslim member of Bosnia's wartime presidency was arrested in Britain, and released on bail on March 10. Ganic is wanted in Serbia on war crimes charges, related to the killing and wounding of scores of retreating Yugoslav People's Army (JNA) soldiers and officers in May 1992 in Sarajevo, in a case known as Dobrovoljacka St. massacre. The Serbian Justice Ministry trusts the British courts completely and will honor any decision they make regarding Ganic, State Secretary with the Ministry Slobodan Homen told Tanjug on Thursday. Homen said he expects Ganic to be extradited to Serbia, and reminded that along with the extradition request the Justice Ministry recently provided the Westminster Magistrates' Court with strong evidence of Ganic's involvement in the attack on the Yugoslav People's Army (JNA) convoy in Sarajevo in 1992. "We have sent the British court several hundred pages of concrete evidence that speaks to the crime itself and the involvement of Ganic, and other persons, along with the request to turn Ganic over to Serbia so that the criminal proceedings initiated against him by the Belgrade District Court could be completed," Homen pointed out.
